The story of JB Michor Inc.

JB Michor Inc. founder JC Barber registered his company and started pursuing his dream of owning a business at the age of 16 years old. With that dream in mind, over the next 50 years he grew it into the successful transportation repair and overhaul business it is today

JC opened JC Barber Inc. in 1976, an autobody and repair shop in Ile-Perrot. He was recruited by large transportation companies to head up the paint facilities where he gained key experience and credentials with tractor/trailer modification and repair and opened JB Michor Inc. Over the next several years, he succeeded in growing the business into one of the leading truck collision repair centres in the greater Montreal area. JC took great pride in providing quality service and operating with integrity, the same principles maintained by his sons today.

Today, JB Michor Inc. is a partnership owned by both Michael Barber and Corey Barber, who remain committed to the company’s core values. Looking toward the future, JB Michor Inc. continues to service the transportation industry in both collision repair and commercial fleet maintenance.
