What you’ll learn

  • Surface preparation and panel straightening on heavy vehicles
  • Colour matching and professional spray gun operation
  • Primer application, sanding and surface finishing techniques
  • Frame and structural repair and integrity assessment with senior techs
  • Insurance claim documentation and repair order workflows
  • Shop safety standards, PPE protocols, and environmental compliance
  • Working with OEM and aftermarket parts and manufacturer repair specifications
  • Professional communication with fleet managers and estimators

Education
DVS in Auto Bodywork, Automotive Body Repair, or related trade program (DEP/DVS, AEC, or equivalent)
Academic level
Near graduation or recently graduated
Duration
Minimum 1 month (school calendar internship block)
Compensation
Will be compensated based on performance and skills demonstrated
Language
French or English (bilingual is a strong asset)
Location
Must commute to Saint-Laurent, QC (6200 Vanden Abeele)
Physical capacity
This is an active shop environment. Candidates must be able to perform physical work — standing for extended periods, handling tools and equipment, and working in a production shop setting. No prior shop experience required — we train from the ground up.
